The Duvall Westside team recently celebrated “Bring Your Child to Work Day,” with a total of six enthusiastic participants. To make the day more engaging, each child was assigned a specific role, mirroring positions within the company. For instance, one child assumed the role of a property manager, another embraced the title of a leasing specialist, and yet another donned the hat of a maintenance supervisor.
Throughout the day, the children had the unique opportunity to shadow a Sage team member holding the corresponding title they were given. This hands-on experience allowed them to gain insights into various aspects of property management. One notable activity involved the team of young talents conducting a tour for a prospective resident, showcasing their understanding of the roles they were temporarily fulfilling.
Moreover, the children actively contributed to the day-to-day operations by placing a work order, participating in the completion of work orders, and inspecting turned units to ensure they were ready for rent. These practical tasks not only made the day enjoyable but also provided valuable educational experiences for the young participants.
